I followed up my video interviewing new students about Graduate Level Apprenticeships (GLAs) at Edinburgh Napier by speaking to a couple of employers and Scott Killen, Employer Liaison and Recruitment Manager in the School of Computing.
Interviewees included Duncan Mann from KAL, a company that develops ATM software, and Mark Rodger from Cortex Worldwide, a company that provides a secure platform for deploying websites for companies such as Dyson and Microsoft.
We discussed how the GLAs work, who qualifies and how they are funded. We also spoke about the benefits to businesses taking on apprentices and the support available from Edinburgh Napier.
